According to relevant planning, by 2015, the luminous efficiency of China's white LED will reach the international advanced level in the same period, occupying 30% of the general lighting market, replacing 70% of imported high-brightness chips, realizing the localization of MOCVD core equipment and key supporting materials; surrounding the backlight Major strategic products such as automobile lighting, strengthen technology integration, and realize large-scale demonstration and application. The industrial scale will reach 500 billion yuan and 500,000 new jobs will be created. The annual energy saving will be 140 billion kWh, and the annual standard coal will be reduced by 49 million tons. Carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides and dust emissions are 140 million tons.

When asked about the future development of the LED industry, the heads of the participating companies all agreed to work hard toward this goal.

However, due to the lack of a unified LED light source industry standard in China, LED companies are basically in the process of production, and the quality of products is mixed. This has led some companies to have doubts about the domestic market environment. The most criticized LED products are the service life of LED lights. At present, the theoretical service life of LED light source products is more than 50,000 hours, but the actual service life of some products produced by some enterprises is far below this standard, which casts a shadow on the quality and reputation of LED light source products. It restricts the development of the LED industry. The person in charge of the exhibitors said that they hope to develop a unified industry standard as soon as possible.

Setting industry standards is the only way for the LED industry, but there are still some difficulties. LED light source products are relatively special, and they are optoelectronic integrated products. Among them, the light parameter standard is relatively easy to formulate, and the standardization of electricity is complicated. This requires the government to take the lead in the development of industry standards.
