How to use digital clamp meter

The digital clamp ammeter has functions such as automatic range conversion (automatic shift of decimal point), automatic display polarity, data hold, overrange indication, and some functions such as measuring resistance, voltage, diode and temperature.

Using a digital clamp ammeter, the readings are more intuitive and more convenient to use. The usage and precautions are basically the same as those of the pointer clamp ammeter. The following only describes some common problems that may be encountered during use.

(1) About range selection.

• When measuring, if the displayed number is too small, the selection range is too large, and it can be converted to a lower range and then re-measured.

· If the overload symbol is displayed, the selection range is too small, and should be converted to a higher range and then re-measured.

(2) The range cannot be converted during the measurement. The wire to be tested should be taken out of the core jaw, or the “Function” button should be pressed for 3 seconds to turn off the power of the digital clamp meter and then convert the range.

(3) If you need to save the data, you can press the “Function” button during the measurement process to hear a “beep” sound, and the measurement data will be automatically saved on the display.

(4) When measuring the resistance, AC voltage, and DC voltage of the circuit using a digital clamp meter with a multimeter function, insert the test lead into the test lead jack of the digital clamp meter, and set the range selection switch to “V~” as needed. (AC voltage), "V-" (DC voltage), "Ω" (resistance) and other gears, use two test leads to touch the object under test, the LCD display shows the reading.

Ethernet Cable Wiring

Ethernet cables connect devices such as PCs, routers, and switches within a local area network. Most technicians refer to these standards as CAT5 and CAT6, respectively. Also CAT3 available. Because of this, many online stores that sell network cables use this abbreviated language as well.

The connector can by shield or non-shield type, raw cable can be UTP, STP, FTP type. Also the molded shape can be custom mould by straight, right-angle, 105 degree, etc.

These physical cables are limited by length and durability. If a network cable is too long or of poor quality, it won't carry a good network signal. These limits are one reason there are different types of Ethernet cables that are optimized to perform certain tasks in specific situations.
