The National Standards Committee has formulated the "standard value of energy efficiency and energy efficiency rating of metal halide lamps"
On August 18, 2005, the National Standardization Administration issued a TBT notification to the World Trade Organization Committee on Technical Barriers to Trade to develop a standard for energy efficiency and energy efficiency of metal halide lamps (notification number: G/TBT/N/CHN/120) . This standard specifies the energy efficiency limits, energy efficiency ratings and test methods for metal halide lamps. The proposed date of approval of the standard is 90 days after distribution by the WTO Secretariat. Proposed date of entry into force: 6 months after approval.
