In response to the world problem of LED flashing when it is directly driven by AC, Changchun Yinghua and Sichuan Xinli Light Source Co., Ltd. cooperated in 2008 to develop new AC LED lighting technology.
After more than 6 years of unremitting exploration and development, the team has developed a new AC LED technology with luminescent materials as the core. According to Li Chengyu, the technology has reached the international leading level, making China the only country in the world that can produce low-frequency flash AC LED products with luminescent materials, which has effectively promoted the research and industrial development level of China's exchange LEDs, especially rare earth AC LED luminescent materials. .
At present, the project results have been successfully transformed into Sichuan Xinli Light Source Co., Ltd. and Zhongke Optoelectronics (Changchun) Co., Ltd., forming four major categories of lamps, downlights , tube lamps and spotlights, and successfully applied to families, Subway, shopping malls, hospitals and other fields.
Li Chengyu introduced that the technology product has simple circuit, low cost, good heat dissipation, high energy efficiency and long service life, which can increase the life expectancy by more than 1 time, and reduce energy consumption and cost by 15% and 20% respectively. At present, the products have passed the relevant certification in China, as well as the US Underwriters Laboratories, European Uniform and other certifications, and sold to the United States, Canada, Mexico, Spain, Brazil and other countries, and achieved significant economic benefits.
It is reported that the project results have been selected in the "2013 China Rare Earth Top Ten Technology News", won the 2012 British Engineering and Technology Society (IET) "Energy Innovation" and "Building Environment" two nominations, 2013 "Golden Kangaroo" world innovation The award has been granted four Chinese invention patents, and three PCT (Patent Cooperation Agreement) international patent applications have entered the stage of trial in several countries.
