SCHURTER introduced a new 5008 series to provide power input and filtering functions for low-power devices. It is set as a first-order electromagnetic interference filter. According to the IEC and UL standards, the rated current is applicable to 2.5 amperes and 6 amperes respectively, and there are two types of standard and medical. The filter is directly designed and installed on the power input point to ensure the optimal electromagnetic compatibility of the device.

The assembly operation includes screw or snap-in installation. Snap-in installation technology greatly reduces installation procedures and assembly costs; in addition, the 5008 series uses quick-connect terminals, and solder terminals are also available.

This product design is suitable for information technology, medical and household appliances.
