LED backlight technology battle ended

The evaluation results show that the side-in-white LED technology represented by Samsung has achieved a significant improvement in image quality compared with ordinary LCD TVs, creating a new height in image quality and energy saving. Dr. Wen Na, the National Laboratory of Quality Supervision and Inspection Center of National Radio and TV Products, pointed out that LED TVs have significantly improved performance in terms of energy saving, color, stability and service life compared to CCFL backlight LCD TVs. The indicators are higher than the national technical requirements, especially in terms of contrast and energy consumption.

It is understood that in fact, side-in white light is the latest third-generation LED backlight technology in the industry. After Samsung introduced side-entry products, domestic manufacturers have recently launched a large number of side-entry LED TV products. Although the theory of side-entry does have the problem of "uneven brightness", the third-generation technology "bovine" is that it not only overcomes this problem, but also provides a lower cost and thinner fuselage.
