MT8000 remote monitoring and remote download

MT8000 series man-machine with Ethernet interface, through the Ethernet network, can achieve remote man-machine or PLC data monitoring, but also to achieve remote MT8000 man-machine download program.

The structure of the MT8000 remote monitoring system is as follows:

Among them, MT8000 man-machine can connect a variety of controllers.
To implement the MT8000 remote monitoring function, you must first set the router of the local area network where the accessed MT8000 is located. The method is as follows:
1. IP setting of MT8000 Touch the lower right corner of the machine, a toolbar appears at the bottom of the machine, and there are 4 icons on the left, as shown in the figure.


Click on the fourth "System Setting" icon, after entering the password (default password 111111), the dialog window shown in the following figure appears:



In the "Netword" column, set the machine's IP address, and save and confirm it. It is recommended to restart the machine after setting and download the program.
At the same time, in the EB8000 software, set the MT8000 port number, as shown in the figure below, can be set to 8000.



2. Setting up the router By setting up the router, map the 8000 port number to the IP address of the MT8000. Take the TP-LINK router as an example to introduce the settings:
Enter IP:192.168.1.1 in the IE address bar. The popup window is as shown below:

After inputting the user name and password corresponding to the router, enter the setting interface of the router and set the virtual server as shown in the figure below. That is, port 8000 is mapped to the IP address of MT8000, and the downloaded port 20248 is also mapped to the IP address of MT8000.

After the router is set up, save it and quit.
At the same time, we must also pay attention to the IP of the external network. At this time, the IP is: 221.0.152.26.
3.MT8000 remote monitoring Open the EB8000 software and create a new program. This program is used to simulate the monitoring of remote human-machine data. The system parameters are set as follows:

Then, in the EB8000's editing interface, set two components:
Bit state switch, set as shown below:



Note: At the PLC name, the name corresponding to the remote man-machine is selected.
Place a numeric input element as shown below:

Note: The name of the remote man-machine should also be selected at the PLC name.
After the setting is completed, the compiler can be saved to perform offline simulation or online simulation. When the state of LB0 is switched, the status of LB0 on ​​the remote MT8000 man-machine will be changed correspondingly; when a value is input to LW0 on the computer, The LW0 address on the far-end MT8000 will display the value entered on the computer. On the contrary, you can also view the data changes on the remote MT8000 man-machine on your computer.
At this point, the remote monitoring function of the MT8000 is realized.
4. MT8000 remote download and upload On the basis of the router on the remote local MT8000 where the local computer is located, you can start the remote download and upload operations.
Open the EB8000 software on the computer. In the "Project Manager" window, click the "Download" button, and the dialog box as shown in the following figure appears.

[Firmware] will be selected when it is first downloaded
[Project file] Path to download the XOB file to the remote MT8000
[Recipe data RW] If there is this recipe file, it needs to be selected
[Recipe data RW_A] If you have this recipe file, you need to check
[Data sampling records] If you have this data sampling record file, you need to select
[HMI IP] Here, fill in the IP address of the remote MT8000 man-machine: 221.0.152.26
[Automatically restart the touch screen after downloading] If this item is checked, the touch screen will be restarted after the program is downloaded.
[Clear recipe data] If this item is checked, all recipe data in the machine will be cleared to 0 before downloading the program.
[Clear Event Log] If this item is checked, all event log file event log in the machine will be cleared before downloading the program.
[Clear Data Sampling Record] If this item is checked, before downloading the program, all Data log files existing on the machine will be cleared. After the settings are completed, click “Start Download” and a dialog box prompting the download progress of the program will appear. When finished, the program has been downloaded.
You can also click the download button in the EB8000 software's editing interface. The setting window is as follows:

No matter which path is downloaded, the prompt information of the download progress is the same.
If it is a remote upload, click the "Upload" button on the "Easy Manager" window of EB8000, and the dialog box shown in the figure below appears:

[Project File] Select the path to save the uploaded XOB file on the computer
[HMI IP] is the external network IP of the local area network where the remote MT8000 is located. Here is: 221.0.152.26
Set up, click on the "Upload" button and the program will start uploading.
MT8000 man-machine through Ethernet, easy to achieve remote monitoring of data and program upload and download capabilities. The realization of this function saves technicians from having to go to the scene because of minor problems.
