When applying the inverter, select the inverter that matches it according to the equipment requirements. When selecting a frequency converter, first, the maximum input power required by the equipment (ie, the minimum rated power of the motor) should be determined according to the requirements of the equipment for the speed (highest, lowest) and torque (start, continuous and overload).

Secondly, according to the inverter output power (inverter capacity) and the rated current is slightly larger than the motor's power, and the rated current principle to determine the parameters and models of the inverter to be selected.

It should be noted that selecting the capacity of the inverter means that it is suitable for the power of a 4-pole AC asynchronous motor. For motors with the same rated power, the rated current of the motor is different due to the different number of poles. Generally, the number of poles of the motor increases, and the rated current increases. Therefore, it is not possible to select the inverter based solely on the capacity of the load motor.

Generally, for squirrel-cage motors, the capacity selection of the inverter should be based on the principle that the rated current of the inverter is greater than or equal to 1.1 times the maximum normal operating current of the motor, so that the capital can be saved to the maximum extent;

For heavy-duty start-up, high-temperature environment, wound motor, synchronous motor, etc., the capacity of the inverter should be appropriately increased.
