Based on an understanding of smart homes over the years, let's talk about the development of smart homes. We saw that smart homes have left many people out of the pit, but they have also made some outstanding contributions. I believe that smart home is only a node for the linkage between the surrounding environment and home appliances, and it is a link between the past and the future.

I generally divide human-computer interaction into four stages. 1.0 phase functionality: to meet the basic functional requirements, control is basically "being near", for example, electric fans, air conditioners can solve the surrounding environment problems, such as the need to burn water and electricity teapots and other appliances. This only solves a functional problem, bringing some convenience and convenience. In fact, it is like an old-fashioned TV. If you want to adjust the platform, you should rely on your hand to adjust the antenna, and then you will return to your childhood.

The convenience of the 2.0 stage: the emergence of the remote control, the distance between the person and the appliance has been released, and in this process, the interaction between the person and the appliance is actually freed. But simple control, cumbersome to find the remote control.

3.0-stage intelligence: Voice recognition, touch and other interactive modes appear, and the human-device-environment is effectively linked. 4.0 stage integration: big data linkage + brain wave control, the boundaries between people and machines are gradually blurred, and people become part of stylization. For example, now we order food through mobile phones. This is based on the linkage of various sensors and home appliances to realize people and surrounding areas. The devices are seamlessly connected.

Today, we focus on the Smart Home 2.0, 2.5 and 3.0 phases. Today's electronic devices have basically implemented remote control, but based on our needs, the communication methods of these devices are basically infrared and RFID. At present, it has great advantages: the first one is the low cost of the module, the second one is relatively mature, and the third is a wide range of applications, which are used throughout the industry. Therefore, these two communication methods have initially realized the convenience of the product, but it also has its inferiority: it only realizes the communication of a single item, and does not realize the interconnection and interconnection between products. At least the situation of the other party is that there is no way to feedback to me. At the same time, with the advent of smart phones, a lot of intelligent hardware was born, and now most of them are Bluetooth or Wifi communication, which realizes the control of smart phones. The concept of smart home has been raised for so many years. Although there is no such thing as smart bracelets, watches and VR in the market last year, the industry has been very hot, which means that it has corresponding advantages, like last year's smart hardware explosion, home furnishing The flexibility is combined with the low entry threshold of the single product, which realizes the scene of the single product function and is more convenient. At the same time, there are also great disadvantages. The first disadvantage is the strong brand barriers. Every intelligent hardware manufacturer needs two-way communication. For example, I have used Xiaozhi, which is relatively tight with Haier, but it is difficult to connect with other brands. If you want to connect, both parties need to open the SDK package, which has some manpower, material resources, economic and public relations costs, and Not conducive to the growth of startups. The second app is independent of each other. I want to make my home smart with a mobile phone. The third is subject to bandwidth and router impact, and stability is uncertain. Because the communication method of intelligent hardware is based on router and Wifi, it has a limit on the number of connections and product restrictions. As long as it is not connected to the Internet, the phenomenon of eating traffic is also very serious. Because our smart items come back through the mobile app, router, Internet, and then inside. So, I think smart hardware may still be a long time, but it can't carry the process of smart home or artificial intelligence.

Then I summed up how the current smart home cake is divided? Traditional home: single product drive system products. For example, Haier U+ won the entire community. But these three pieces of cake may have been bought when they first came in, but they usually fall into the pit. Traditional home appliance manufacturers: caught in the dilemma of intelligent brand isolation. For example, Haier U+, Founder, and Ziguang have pushed the platform for such a long time and have been tepid. E-commerce platform: wool is still on the sheep, the price is poor, and the installation is difficult. Just like many products are a lot more expensive than the original. Emerging smart manufacturers: system big products and less investment. For example, if I want to control this projector, I have to implant my module, but if Epson disagrees, you can't connect it accordingly.

I think there are so many factors affecting the development of smart homes. From the supply side, the first one is the adjustment of the product supply chain, and the industry chain is not enough to support the concept of 3.0. The second is that the profit margin is meager and cautious about new products. The third is that the country has not issued a standard agreement, and each manufacturer has its own battle. The fourth is the potential energy of the system module is not formed, the cost increase is serious, such as Wifi, Zigbi module, this year has dropped a little before the price is higher.

From the consumer side, I think the most important one is that the customer is not strong and does not form a need. In addition, the systemic cost is relatively high, and the number is tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands or even millions.

What are the elements of the smart home under 3.0? The first is scene control: all appliances can be contextualized and controlled. The second is the customization needs: home appliances will be adjusted according to the needs of each person. The third is the linkage between products to realize the linkage between people and electrical appliances, electrical appliances and electrical appliances, electrical appliances and the environment. Here, let's talk about some of Hui's current views on the current state of smart home.
