VueReal has won more than 66 million financing and cooperated with Veeco to develop MicroLED

On March 6, VueReal Inc., a key technology developer of Micro-LED display, announced that it has initially completed a $10.5 million (equivalent to approximately RMB 66.43 million) Series A financing. This round of financing is financed by a large Asian company. The company and a leading North American supplier led the investment. VueReal will use the funds to expand its team and launch advanced micro device development and characterization research centers to accelerate the development of Micro-LED technology. Due to the high level of attention of major industry partners, VueReal is currently working to complete the follow-up work of Series A financing.

Display technology innovators have been following the next major technology shift - Micro-LED. Industry analysts are watching the future, and it is predicted that the Micro LED display market is expected to reach 330 million units by 2025. The above optimistic forecast is based on the good development prospects of Micro-LED technology, and Micro-LED is regarded as a key factor in realizing the finished display. However, the development of such displays has been hampered by high material costs, low yields and throughput of Micro LED's massive transfer technology.
