By the end of this year, all office spaces and production plants in Anshan Iron and Steel will adopt high-efficiency lighting products, and take the lead in creating a green lighting environment that is energy-saving and environmentally friendly and beneficial to employees' physical and mental health.
It is understood that the green lighting project is one of the national 11th and 50th major energy-saving projects. This year, in order to implement the national energy conservation policy in depth and assume the social responsibility of large state-owned enterprises, Angang has made all efforts to improve energy conservation and emission reduction, and listed green lighting as the key energy-saving project of the group company in 2008. The “Notice on Promoting Green Lighting Energy Saving Projects†and the “Notice on Implementing Green Lighting Projects†were issued successively, based on the survey and statistics of 8 key energy-consuming units lighting lamps such as Anshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. and Anshan Iron and Steel Group Mining Company. Develop a green lighting promotion plan to deploy green lighting.
According to the idea that new lighting fixtures must purchase green lighting products and the original lamps are gradually eliminated and replaced, Angang plans to implement green lighting projects step by step from design, procurement and use. From June 1st, it is strictly forbidden for all units to design and purchase inefficient lighting products such as incandescent lamps, mercury lamps and tungsten halogen lamps; all units are required to eliminate incandescent lamps and ordinary fluorescent lamps in office premises before September 1 this year. Eliminate all incandescent, mercury and tungsten halogen lamps in other places. At the same time, in the new projects such as the Bayuquan to increase the intensity of green lighting projects, the design of the Anshan Iron and Steel Design and Research Institute projects, the hospital's own control, the design of other hospitals, by the Anshan Iron and Steel Group Technology Reform Department, is strictly prohibited in the design Inefficient lighting products.
The implementation of green lighting projects is conducive to saving energy, protecting the environment, improving the work, learning efficiency and quality of life of employees, and is also conducive to enhancing the awareness of energy conservation among the masses of workers. According to estimates, the use of efficient lighting products to replace traditional low-efficiency lighting products can save 60%-80%. After all the inefficient lighting is eliminated, Angang will realize an annual power saving of more than 60 million kWh.
At present, most of the units in Anshan Iron and Steel have set up a green lighting project promotion group, formulated the implementation plan of the unit, and have begun to phase out the inefficient lighting fixtures of the office and production plants according to the implementation plan.
