Apple iwatch will use 1.52 inch POLED screen to pass LG exclusive supply

According to recent news, Apple's rumored smart watch "iwatch" uses the panel, which will be produced by LG Display. It will adopt LG's POLED panel technology, and the specification will adopt 1.52 inch design. Some analysts predict that Apple's "iWatch" will come out in September with the iPhone 6, which is rumored to be a large-size screen.

South Korean media reported that LG Display will begin mass production of 1.52-inch iWatch panels in the third quarter of this year; Digital Daily pointed out that iWatch may be used on the LG curved smart phone "G Flex", just published soon. P-OLED panel, and may be equipped with wireless charging technology.

Analysts pointed out that Apple will look at the OLED panel instead of the general LCD screen, because the OLED panel has the advantages of lightness, thinness, and power saving.
