This circuit uses few components, it connects the unknown resistor and the standard resistor in series, allowing them to flow through the same current. The voltage across the unknown resistor is applied to the input, and the voltage across the known resistor is applied to the reference input. If the unknown resistance is equal to the standard resistance, the reading is displayed as 1000.
