The MAX16834 is a current-mode, high-brightness LED (HBLED) driver for boost, boost-buck, SEPIC, and high-side buck topologies. Operating voltage 4.75V to 28V, 3000:1 PWM dimming / analog dimming, programmable frequency from 100kHz to 1MHz, mainly used in single string LED LCD backlight, automotive front and rear illumination, projection system RGB LED light source, point and ambient lighting and DC/DC boost/liter-buck converter.
