NXP pushes fast IoT prototype suite to accelerate PoC development process

Nuremberg, Germany (2018 Embedded Systems Show) – February 27, 2018 – NXP Semiconductors (Nasdaq: NXPI) today announced the launch of a new Fast IoT Prototyping Suite for the Internet of Things (IoT) for innovators The road to application development provides convenience. This energy-efficient optimized prototyping solution is designed to ensure safety and ease of use, greatly simplifying proof of concept (PoC) development of IoT edge nodes in the consumer, commercial and industrial markets.

The Fast IoT Prototyping Suite accelerates the three-phase process of typical PoC development and even helps non-traditional technology innovators quickly and easily complete the PoC of the IoT concept. It combines an optimized hardware design with a trusted and secure pre-programming that can be put into operation within minutes of the user's opening. The kit can be expanded with the docking station and the MikroElektronika Click boardTM series to create virtually unlimited applications.

The Fast IoT Prototyping Suite uses GUI-based drag-and-drop programming from Atmosphere IoT, making it easy for innovators without embedded programming experience to create their own applications. Students and amateurs, developers, platform providers, and startups or engineers in large enterprises can use this user-friendly development environment to reduce design time.
