According to foreign media reports, many users who have booked the iPhone 8 today can use the new machine. iFixit also dismantled the new product for the first time. They found that the internal structure of the iPhone 8 is no different from the iPhone 7.

In order to dismantle the iPhone 8, the iFixit team also flew to Australia (the earliest release date), they found that in addition to being replaced by glass, the iPhone 8 and iPhone 7 are almost identical in internal design.

Of course, the new machine is not completely copying the iPhone 7. In fact, this year's most changed update of the iPhone 8 uses a glass back panel, replacing the aluminum chassis on the iPhone 6, 6s and 7 models, so the durability of the glass back cover has improved a lot. Apple claims that this backsheet has special materials in addition to glass, including steel and copper to prevent cracking and bending.

The iPhone's new wireless charging feature can also be achieved because it uses a glass material.

Apple added wireless charging to the iPhone 8, which is the main reason for the replacement of the glass back cover. By X-ray illumination, iFixit found the internal charging coil of the machine, which intersected the motherboard, battery and fuselage frame, but the overall look was fuzzy (see the picture below).

Now, the wireless charging speed of the iPhone 8 is still relatively slow, but Apple promises to increase the wireless charging rate through software upgrades in the future.

In addition, iFixit also found that the iPhone 8 used to fasten the screen of the plum blossom screws around the rubber ring on the iPhone 7, perhaps Apple has a new breakthrough in waterproof technology.

On the battery side, the iPhone 8's capacity has indeed shrunk compared to its predecessor. This time its battery is only 1821 mAh, which is lower than the iPhone 7's 1960 mAh. However, Apple said that the new aircraft life can be maintained at the same level as the iPhone 7.
