The elemental doping technology was used to modify the lithium titanate material to reduce its surface catalytic activity and inhibit the occurrence of inflation and side reactions. The project carried out research on different synthesis technologies of submicron lithium titanate materials, developed raw material pretreatment solid phase synthesis method and electrospinning synthesis method for submicron lithium titanate materials, and studied the modification technology of submicron lithium titanate materials. The submicron lithium titanate doping modification and surface coating technology were developed to solve the problem of flatulence of lithium titanate battery due to the catalytic activity of tetravalent titanium ions on the surface of lithium titanate material.

The 15 ampere-hour lithium titanate battery based on modified sub-micron lithium titanate material has been experimentally predicted, and the battery life can reach 15418 times. In the environment of 55 degrees Celsius, after 1000 cycles of charging and discharging current of 30 amps, The flatulence rate is only 11.2%, which improves the safety of the battery and promotes the industrialization and practical application of the energy storage technology led by the State Grid Corporation.
